At Australian Estate Coffee we take absolute pride in growing and roasting the highest quality coffees available in Australia.
By following our unique quality assurance growing, processing and roasting regimes, we are able to consistently reproduce ‘gold’. Since winning the accolade of Australia’s Champion Coffee at the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show in 1999, we have continued our genuine commitment to excellence in agriculture and customer service.
Australian Estate Coffee is 100% Australian grown and owned coffee. With the natural ability to resist pests and diseases, our coffee is free from the pesticides, chemical fertilisers or fumigation sprays associated with imported coffees.
At Australian Estate Coffee you only talk directly with the growers and owners!
“Coffee is a living, breathing thing – one never knows all there is about coffee – it is an ever changing, ever growing product – as hygroscopic as the bean itself is, so is my enthusiasm for its vitality” Gordon Beattie, Grower and Founding Director of Australian Estate Coffee.
“I just like to drink the stuff…” Janet Beattie, Founding Director
“When you have a small business, you can never really leave your work at the ‘office’, so even when we went on family holidays, mum and dad [Gordon and Janet] were always stopping in at cafes for tastings and the like… I guess I was just born into it! I also have a passion for marketing, so being able to use my skills for the family business is a real joy. I am very lucky to be working with such a great team, with an award winning product!” Sarah Biersteker – Marketing Director
“I’ve grown up on the land and ever since meeting Gordon I have been intrigued by the Australian Coffee Industry. My ethos is supporting Australian farmers, and I truly believe that united, the Australian Coffee Industry can surpass any international competition, because we have such a high quality Australian grown product” Daniel Biersteker - Operations Director
The Beattie family has been growing coffee for over twenty years; first forming the New South Wales Coffee Growers Association in 1992, with Gordon instilled as inaugural Treasurer and then later on after intense lobbying being instrumental in forming the Australian Subtropical Coffee Growers Co-Operative.
