Newcastle City Farmers Market is held at Newcastle Showground. There are amazing products on sale most Sundays of the month.
Produce includes

When it comes to arts and crafts you will find the Hunter's biggest gathering of artisans. There are blacksmiths and jewellery makers, painters, photographers, toy makers, fibre and paper artists and more.
You will also find plenty of stalls selling gifts, from Fair Trade products through to educational toys and books along with beautiful hand-made soaps and beauty products.

We have been operating our nursery for nearly 10 years and our protea plantation was planted 8 years ago. We have more than 100 varieties of proteas, lucadendrons and lucaspermum planted and more than 4000 protea plants are are starting to add new varieties. We grow a large range of plants from vegetable seedlings, natives, shrubs, ground covers, wind breaks, large range of fruit and nut trees, deciduous and ornamental trees as well as protea plants. A father and son operation, we bring a huge range of plants to the markets every weekend, most at wholesale prices. Eumundi SmokehouseEumundi Smokehouse is owned by David Kasmaroski and started our in Eumundi, QLD. He moved his operation some years ago to Dulwich Hill. He also has a chilli salami and organic chickens. He soaks the chillies in Brown Brothers port in a vat for a month then puts them in the sausage and smokes for six weeks. The chickens are drug free, soaked in gin and smoked in juniper. He makes real bacon and ham that will last in your fridge up to two years as there is no water content.
